Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey began when she was 14 years old. In addition to BJJ training She also took classes in boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. When she was 18, Ladd made her amateur debut at WCFC. Ladd kept building on her win in Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She knocked out all her competitors in the initial round. Aspen returned to WCFC for the purpose of defeating Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen was first beaten by Silvia Babyghian before going on to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 and fought Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was superior to Aspen in the fight, beating her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's amateur records were marred. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her amateur record from 8-1 to 8-1. Aspen began her career in the year 2015 when she signed to Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta eleven saw Aspen slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's first bout as a bantamweight. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in second round. Aspen employed the strong techniques she learned from wrestling to defeat McGill. She ended her fight via TKO (3rd round) (elbows as well as punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen dominated Hoy and defeated her in the second round via TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last fight for promotion. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut was in UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina and ground-and-pounded her to pick up a second-round TKO victory. In her next fight, she beat Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd was victorious in the first round and was awarded the Performance of the Night bonus. Her first major fight in her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd's win was a majority decision and the Fight of the Night award came to both fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak with just 16 seconds. Yana Knitskaya lost in the third at UFC 7 at ESPN. As a replacement, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
